Blueberry Post election 2018
The third Blueberry Post election is coming up. You may have seen the first two elections, the 2016 and 2017 elections. The 2018 election is not for a while, but I am going to explain what happened to the parties and what their origin is. After that, we will look at which parties people are thinking of voting for at the moment and give you a chance to vote on a poll.
The Blueberry Party:
This was the first political party on Blueberry Post, starting when the evil blueberries invaded, ended the rule of King Jack and started a democracy. Their first leader was Billy Blueberry, but he retired and was replaced by Ben Blueberry, who is still the leader now. Their policies are to paint all the houses blue and make more blueberry farms.
The Cat Party:
This was the second party created and was created by lazy cats who wanted people to do everything for them. Since then, they have changed a lot. Their first leader was Catbert, but she retired and now Juno is the leader. They used to be The Blueberry Party’s main opponent until The Dog Party appeared and took half their votes away. Their policies are free catnip and softer cat baskets.
The Dog Party:
The dog party didn’t get any votes in the first election because their leader, Mark Mutt, wasn’t very good. However, starting with the second election, Amber became their leader and Mark Mutt was voted out. After that, their votes increased. Their policies are free pig ears and robots that give you tummy rubs. Their party was created by dogs who weren’t fed enough and wanted change.
The Strawberry Party:
The strawberry party did OK in the first election with their leader, Sam Strawberry. However, in the second election, they got no votes and Sam was voted out. Now their leader is Bruce Strawberry. Their policies are paint all the houses red and make more strawberry farms. Their party was created by strawberries who live in Blueberry Post but feel left out because the blueberries get all the attention even though 30% of Blueberry Post residents are strawberries.
The Explosion Party:
The explosion party is a new party starting in this election. Their leader is Ethan Exploder, formerly known as The Exploder. Their policies are make lots of atomic bombs and destroy all the other countries with nuclear weapons. Their party was made by people who thought Blueberry Post was a bit too small and peaceful and needed to become more powerful.
Now let’s have a look at which parties people are thinking of voting for:
It looks very close! These are the results of the first poll for the election. All the parties except for The Explosion Party are doing very well. The second poll has opened now! You can vote which party you like best:
Animals riding each other
I found a picture of a rat riding a cat who is riding a dog! I wonder why they don’t just turn round and bite each other. Actually, the rat should be running away from the cat, who would be running away from the dog. But it seems like this strange trio have decided to be friends. I can see some bikes in the top-left corner of the picture! Maybe the dog should ride a bike and drive it on top of a car which goes into the cargo hold of a plane. Meanwhile, a fly could ride the rat. Then it would be a fly riding a rat riding a cat riding a dog riding a bike riding a car riding a plane!
When cats ride dogs
I have never taken a picture of the outside of Blueberry Post. Luckily, someone else did. It looks very good, don’t you think!
Anyway, one of the blueberries spotted something moving below and took out his camera to take a picture. He got a big surprise!
It was a cat riding a dog! The cat said “Meowwar!” which must be cat language for “Faster!” and the dog sped up out of sight. The cat seemed to be in a race, and soon we saw some more cats riding dogs:
One of the dogs had a whole team of kittens on it! One of the kittens fell off and it said “Mrrit!” (cat language for sit) and the dog sat down so that the cat could climb back up!
Happy animals
For the last week my dad was in America and he’s just come back today. The animals are pleased to see him! Amber, our puppy, is wagging her tail and following him around the kitchen with a toy in her mouth. Looks like someone wants to play! Juno, our kitten, just sat on him and purred a lot. It’s good to see that both animals are happy. Amber gets very excited when she sees Juno but I don’t think Juno likes her. We still don’t allow them to be in the same room together. It’s probably Amber who’s in danger of being hurt, not Juno! Juno is very brave and extremely fast. Oh, and very naughty too! Maybe Amber and Juno will be friends when winter comes, because it will be very cold and Juno will want something warm to sleep on. Guess what’s the warmest object in the house in winter? It’s Amber, of course!
