Midnight Empire Age of Exploration: Finished writing!

I finally finished writing my story Midnight Empire: Age of Exploration! I couldn’t write the story for three weeks because I was studying for the exams at school, but now the exams are over and I finally found enough time to finish writing the story. I am not going to upload the story to my blog yet because I want to read it to my parents first. After that, I will proofread it to look for spelling mistakes, and then I will put the story on my blog’s Stories page and notify you with another post. Midnight Empire: Age of Exploration is 57 pages (21 chapters) long, more than twice as long as the first story in the series, The Midnight Revolution, which is only 26 pages (10 chapters). This is because there is a more complicated plot in the second story and I took more time to describe things.

I know you have been waiting for a long time, but the story has probably still got quite a few spelling mistakes in them and I need to proofread it and fix them before I upload it. While you are waiting, why don’t you read some of the other stories on my Stories page, if you haven’t read them already?

Night Sky: Stars, Wind and Clouds

At school, we recently did a music project where we made music on Soundtrap to go with a video that is given to you by the teachers. Basically, you are making background music for the video. We had three videos to choose from and I chose a video of the night sky. I have embedded the video onto my blog so you can watch the video and listen to the music I made for it. Here it is:

Enjoy the video!

Science fair

Last Thursday, I went to a science fair. I took a display board with my scientific project on it, and lots of other people brought theirs too.

My project was finding out if rechargeable or non rechargeable batteries were better, and also if Energizer of Panasonic batteries were better. I don’t know where the file with the final version on it went, but you can see the draft version here.

At the science fair, I got to see everyone else’s projects and get feedback on my own project. Some projects were very interesting, and it was interesting to look at them.

School Computer Hardware Problem (PLUS BONUS MEME!)

Half hearted trolling! Trollolololol!

Unfortunately, my school computer, which is an Acer Spin 5, has been crashing a lot recently. My dad looked at it and said it was probably a hardware problem where it crashes when it overheats. I will have to send it to get fixed in the school holidays, but it’s still Week 4 so in the meantime, I will just have to put up with it and avoid opening too many programs at the same time. It sucks because it means I can’t leave tabs open on my computer between classes, just in case it crashes.

Bonus meme!

“But wait a minute!” You say, “he said in this post that if his next post is still about Imgflip memes, he is a troll! So he’s a troll! HAHA!”

Whoa, hold on a minute. Only half of this post is about memes, so I’m only half a troll:

Anyway, the meme is called “if Shakespeare and Beedrill were one entity.” Here it is:

Obviously, I made it with Imgflip. Beedrill, the Pokemon, is in the background, but a picture of Shakespeare is covering its head.

Did you like this meme? Please comment! 1 comment = Half a troll!

Languages competition

At Wellington College we are doing a languages competition on a website called Education Perfect. Basically, you choose a language and do some activities related to it to earn points. The class with the most points by Friday gets free pizza and the person with the most points in each year group gets a JB Hi-Fi voucher. It’s quite exciting and hopefully my class wins, although some other classes got a head start so we have a lot of work to do to catch up.
