Disaster Zoo episode 3

This is the third episode in a series! Read the other episodes here: 1, 2

The class arrived outside the elephant enclosure. Two kids had died already today, but nothing could stop this class from having fun, not even death. The elephant in this zoo was blue, and it looked up as they approached.

“This zoo has very weird animals,” said Harry.

“I think they’re just dyed in a certain colour to look more attractive,” said Carl.

“I wonder if they’re ticklish,” said Ben, smiling in a naughty way.

“Shall we find out?” Asked Carl.

“Okay!” Harry and Ben said together. In seconds, the three kids had run over the fence and were sprinting towards the blue elephant.

“Stop! Come back!” Called Sally.

“You know what?” Said Ben, “I don’t think I will!”

“You’ll get yourself killed!”

The three kids barely even heard Sally’s last cry. They concentrated on running. Then they each grabbed one of the elephant’s feet and started tickling. The elephant trumpeted and tried to whack Carl with its trunk, but he grabbed the trunk and the elephant furiously tried to shake him off.

“Whee, this is fun!” Yelled Carl. A huge grin appeared on his face.

Suddenly, the elephant lifted its front feet and stomped, crushing Harry and Ben underneath them.

“Nooooo!” Cried Carl. The elephant responded by twisting its trunk around him and strangling him. He died.

“Oh well, I never liked those three anyway,” said Sally, “and besides, we should probably see the lions before we have to go back to school.”

“Yay, lions! My favourite animals!” Grinned Leon.

The class set off at once, leaving three kids lying on the dirty ground in the elephant enclosure. Their bodies weren’t removed for three weeks, and it got very smelly in there.

The class moved on to see the dolphins. The dolphins in this zoo were in a lake, and you could even swim with them. Everyone had brought swimming gear, so they got changed and jumped in! Suddenly, they were surrounded by dolphins. However, there was something strange about these dolphins. Their fins stuck out of the water and looked surprisingly like…

“Arrgh! Sharks!” yelled Amy, who had gone up to one of the so-called “dolphins” to say hello. Everyone swam for the bank. Sally (the teacher just in case you’ve forgotten) made it back to shore first. One by one, the kids reached the shore and climbed up, running to the changing rooms. The only one left in the water was Amy, who was surrounded by sharks.

“Sorry,” said a zookeeper as she walked past, “we must have made a mistake. The sharks are supposed to be in the aquarium on the other side of the zoo.”

“Never mind that, do something!” Sally shouted. “This is the second kid I’ve lost today!”

“Don’t worry, she’ll be fine,” said the zookeeper. She threw some shark food into the lake, and the sharks swam towards it, forgetting about Amy. All apart from one of them, who kept up the chase. Suddenly, Amy disappeared.

“Where’s Amy?” Asked Sally.

“Amy, where are you?” Called Carl, who had just come out of the changing room. “I can see the skarks, but I can’t see you!” There was no answer.

“She’s probably inside the sharks,” said Ben.

“I think we’ve all had enough of the water for now,” said Sally. “I was going to take you to the aquarium to see some stingrays and orcas, but I think we’ve all had enough for now. Let’s go and pay a visit to the elephants!”

Yesterday, Longneck, a pink giraffe arrived at the zoo. Teacher Sally and her class stopped outside his enclosure.

“That giraffe looks weird!” said Ethan.

It was time to move on but Longneck quietly extended his head out of the enclosure, dragging a screaming Ethan inside. Sally gasped when she saw them. A builder, drilling by the side of the path, saw the drama and called the zookeepers, who came rushing to the rescue – too late. Longneck had already drowned Ethan in a lake in his enclosure.

“Oh well,” said Sally, “let’s see the dolphins now.”

“Will there be dolphin riders?” Asked Amy.

The End.

Watch out for Episode 2! It is coming out soon…

The paranoid poem

This is a very paranoid poem I made!

The paranoid poem

The days are short, the nights are long,

And I wake every day to a great big pong.

The nights are long, the days are short,

The army have been killed, so mission abort.

A hurricane is coming, there’s a bomb that might explode,

A volcano might errupt and who will take the load?

A tsunami is approaching, It will get here by noon,

And an evil scientist wants to blow up the moon.

What will we do? We can’t just stand around,

We have do something or to Heaven we are bound!
