The Pac-man Pie Chart

Today I made a pie chart on Imgflip:

The pie chart does not use real statistics, but it is a joke because not very many people play Pac-man these days. The people who play Pac-man and the people who don’t resemble the Pac-man character on the pie chart.

Do you play Pac-man or not? I made a poll on Strawpoll so that I can find out if the pie chart is accurate or not! Vote on the poll, and we will see how accurate the pie chart is!

Code.org projects on Games page

Yesterday, I talked about some Code.org projects that I made in this post.

Nobody commented on that post, but I decided it was still a good idea to put the projects on my Games page, because then you don’t have to scroll down to the post every time you see them. And since they are there, I might as well keep them there.

If you want to check out the Code.org projects, you can find links to them on the Games page, or you can use this link to get directly to the page they are on.

Enjoy the games!

Code.org projects

Recently, I made four games on a coding website called Code.org.

Here are the links:

Minecraft: Survive The Night (A 2D Minecraft game where you are a player on an island, trying to survive an invasion of zombies and creepers, with the help of your trusty Iron Golems!

Star Wars: Save The Rebels (A Star Wars game where you play as C-3PO and have to destroy Mouse Droids and save Rebel Pilots to score points. But watch out! If you run into a Clone Trooper, you will lose points, and there is a Probot trying to destroy you. If you run into it, the game is over! Good luck!)

Flappy Spaceship (A Flappy Bird troll game where you play as a spaceship trying to dodge futuristic obstacles. The game is slow paced, the gravity is low and you score points just by flapping, you don’t even have to pass an obstacle. Easy, right? KABLAM! Suddenly, you are on -100 points, the game speeds up, the gravity gets stronger and the gaps between the obstacles get narrower. And then… BANG! You bump into an obstacle and end the game with -999 points. How is this possible? How did this happen? It happened so fast! Welcome to the world of Flappy Bird Spaceship.)

Three Ball Soccer (A soccer game with three soccer balls. You control a foot with the arrow keys. Kick balls into the goal to score points, but watch out! If a ball gets past your foot, the opposing team scores!)

I hope you enjoy these games!

Are these games good? Are they good enough for me to put them on the Games page? Comment and let me know what you think!

New Windows 10 computer is faster

Recently, I got a new Windows 10 computer. I talked about it in this post.

I have now installed almost all of my programs. There are still a couple of programs left to install but they areĀ  quite complicated to install so I will have to get my dad to install them. I have noticed that it is much faster than my old Dell Windows 8 computer, and everything loads faster. This might be because it is Windows 10, which is newer so it is supposed to be faster and better. However, it could also be because this computer has 128 gigabytes of SSD (Solid State Drive.) SSD is faster than a spinning disc, so things on it load faster. I have one terabyte of spinning disc which is called the “Local Disc” on this computer. I put all of the important files on the SSD so that they load faster and put everything else, including games, on the Local Disc. Unfortunately, when something is already installed, you can’t move it to another disc, and I accidentally installed Steam and Minecraft on the SSD. Oh well, at least they will load faster now.

The computer also came with NVIDIA already installed, and there are Metro app versions of Skype and VLC Media Player that load faster than the desktop versions.

Overall, this new computer is much better than my old Dell computer, and hopefully it lasts as long as the Dell computer did (The Dell computer lasted for more than five years.)

Trying out some new programs

Spoiler Alert! The comments of this post contain spoilers about the puzzle in the post. To avoid the spoiler, complete the puzzle before you look at the comments!

Today I was trying out some new programs that I can use to make things, and also using some old ones. This post is quite long, so click on Continue Reading to see what I made:
