Minecraft: Nether Fugitive Challenge

I thought of an idea for a challenge to play in Minecraft. If you have already beaten the game and are bored, this is a fun thing to do in Minecraft and a challenge of your fighting, building and survival skills! If you are interested, click on Continue Reading for more information.

The challenge is called the Nether Fugitive Challenge. The story is that you are a murderer, and you have killed lots of villagers. When you die, you get sent to Hell (The Nether) and get tortured by demons. Somehow, you manage to escape the torture pits with some supplies you stole from the demons, but now you must face the challenge of surviving in the Nether without being caught. The goal is to survive for as long as possible and record your time. If you want to, you can tell me what your time was in the comments.

Here are the rules:

To start the challenge, make a normal world in Creative mode. Then, immediately build a Nether portal, go to the Nether and destroy the Nether portal. Fly to the nearest piece of land and give yourself a trident with Loyalty 2, an iron shovel, an iron pick with Unbreaking 2, a full set of chainmail armour, 64 torches and 64 steak. These are the supplies you stole from the demons. (I chose chainmail armour because you used to be able to craft it with fire. Fire is hot and the Nether is hot too. Most of the resources in the Nether can be mined with a pickaxe or a shovel, so you get one of each. And the reason why the trident and iron pick have enchantment number 2 is because the Nether was the second dimension added to Minecraft.) Then, you must switch to Survival mode and the challenge begins.

The Demons are searching for you, and they are very angry that you have escaped. Therefore, you must keep moving during the challenge. You can’t waste time building a house to live in because by the time you finish, the demons will have caught you and you automatically lose the challenge. You may have to build Netherrack or Soul Sand bridges to get over lava.

All of the mobs in the Nether work for the demons and will tell them where you are unless you kill them. If you see a mob, you must kill it otherwise the challenge is over, unless you completely clear an area, walk away and then more mobs spawn there.

If you see a Nether Fortress, you must go to it and destroy all of the Blaze spawners, because otherwise the demons can spawn an infinite army of Blazes to hunt you down and kill you.

After you switch to Survival mode, you cannot switch back to Creative mode or use any commands. If you comment with your score and it sounds reasonable, I will trust you, but it will be easier to believe you didn’t cheat if you have video evidence.

If you die, the Demons find you unconscious and take you back to the torture pits. The challenge is over.

If you want to do this Minecraft challenge, good luck! If you are not a fan of Minecraft, don’t worry! There is another post coming soon!
