Juno, our kitten, met Amber, our puppy, for the first time yesterday. They were on opposite sides of the gate when they met. My dad was holding Juno and my mum was holding Amber back. My dad held Juno level with Amber’s face and they looked at each other. Then Amber poked her nose out a gap in the gate and tried to sniff Juno. Juno didn’t like it. She made an angry meow and took a swipe at Amber’s nose with her paw. “Paw” Amber!
